Girl on the Bridge

Girl on the Bridge was one of the movies I saw during Josephine's Great Broken Ankle Induced Movie Bend of 2011. The magical realism reminded me a little of Amelie, and I loved how the black-and-white look made the movie seem like a fairy tale even though it takes place in present day. Plus, I'm always intrigued by stories of two out-of-luck characters who, once they join forces, are absolutely awesome together (think The Sting or The Cooler).
